Wildlife conservation:

  • Wildlife conservation is actually, a practice in order to protect and safeguard the 'wild animals and 'their habitats'. This is to ensure them by preventing against the extinction of those species.
  • Some of the major threats include destruction or degradation or fragmentation of wildlife habitats such as hunting, pollution, poaching, etc. It has been estimated that over a count of 27000 species are found to be extinct.
  • In order to address these issues, both national and international efforts are done to preserve wildlife.
