1. Over poaching and hunting has a huge effect on the count of fishes and animals across the world .

2. Habitat loses in the most significant reason for the overall endangerment of wildlife .

3. Waste pollution, water pollution and air pollution plays a major role in endangerment of wildlife .

4. Most of animal species in India has a less geographical range .

I. Many species of wildlife are on the verge of extinction from India because of poaching, pollution and deforestation.eg. Cheetahs

ii. Deforestation leads to loss of Habitat for millions of species.

iii. 80% of land animals and plants live in forest and many cannot survive as the deforestation that destroys their homes.

iv. In India shifting cultivation is also practiced. This has resulted into loss of habitat of animals.

v. The Government of India has set up number of national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, bird sanctuaries and Biosphere Reserves for the protection of wildlife and forests India.
