Will a convex lens, the lower half of which is covered with a black paper, form a complete image of object placed at infinity?

Anushi007: My doubt was that when an object is placed at infinity some portion of the object is below the principal axis. If you try to draw a diagram that is from the bottom of the object will not even reach the other side
