will current flow more through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material,when connected to the same source? why?

Current will flow more easily through a thick wire than a thin wire because resistance is inversely proportional to the area of cross section.

Debabratakarmakar: Current will flow more easily through a thick wire because the resistance is inversely proportional to the area of cross-section of the wire. Which means when the area of cross section of the wire increases then resistance decreases or vice versa.
