Formula one has a very bright future in India. In fact, any motorsport does. I can say that with confidence because I know go karting is growing slowly. As of now why you see lesser fomulae in India is because the people aren't aware of it. The math and science reason seems a bit amateur. Formula one is a sport that largely runs on viewership basis. And in India, the population provides a larger audience. Formula one is slowly growing. Just that it's taking a little longer.
On the downside, motorsport is very expensive. And I mean that because it can't be afforded by a normal man. But if you're genuinely brilliant, the only way is up.
