Because sexual reproduction involved only a single parents and does not required any other organisms to carryout reproduction. So the geographical isolation does not effect its reproduction Cycle. Moreover asexually reproducing organisms rarely show any variations in characters.

It can't help in specification of asexually reproducing organism because asexual reproduction reproduction involves only in a single organism & there are no chances of variation in their hereditary material.
