A 4 ´ 3 ´ 2 solid is painted green on all 6 faces and then cut into 24-unit cubes. One-unit cube is randomly selected and rolled. Its top face is green. What is the probability that its bottom face is also green. Express your answer as a percent.

Given : 4 * 3 * 2 Solid cuboid painted green on all Sides and cut into  24 unit cubes

To find : If top face is green then probability that  bottom face is also green

Solution:

4 * 3 * 2 Cuboid cut into 24 unit cubes

8 cubes will have 3 Face pained

12 Cubes will Have 2 face Painted

4 Cubes will have 1 Face Painted

No cube will be having opposite face painted.

hence if top face have green color then Bottom face   can not have  green color as none of the cube have opposite face painted

Hence Probability = 0

If top face is green then probability that  bottom face is also green = 0
