Will grapes kept in conc. solution of sugar shrink?how?

it doesn't because if it is a hyper tonic solution it only shrinks.

Yes. The grapes kept in concentrated solution (hypertonic) shrink in size. As the solution is more concentrated than the grapes, the water molecules from grapes move to the solution due to the osmosis (exosmosis). Hope this helps you
