Answer:

If it remains cloudy for a week after the seeds have been sown, the seeds will not germinate. Seed germination is the first step in plant growth. However germination only takes place when the environment has favorable growth conditions. These conditions are availability of water, oxygen and sunlight. In case of cloudy weather, sunlight is absent. Due to absence of sunlight, the seed will not get proper light and temperature therefore not germinate.  When proper sunlight is there, the seeds will germinate.
