Will it damage the phone battery if I connect my Mobile to the computer through the data cable regularly(9hrs to 10hrs a day)

My pc accepts only wired connections to provide net; I don't have Broadband in my home. So, I connect my mobile to pc through a data cable( 9hrs a day) and turn on the hotspot through data cable option to provide net for my pc to attend my online classes.
Now, my doubt is will it damage my phone battery if I continue to connect like this?
