Given :-

angle 1 = (7x - 12)°

angle 2 = (4x - 17)° ------(i)

now,

angle 3 = 180° - angle 1 (linear pair)

➡ angle 3 = 180° - (7x - 12)° ------(ii)

here, angle 3 = angle 2 ------(iii) (corresponding angles)

from equation (i), (ii) and (iii), we get

➡ (4x - 17)° = 180° - (7x - 12)°

➡ 4x + 7x = 180° + 12° + 17°

➡ 11x = 209°

➡ x = 209/11

➡ x = 19°

hence, the missing angles are :-

• angle 1 = (7x - 12)°

= (7 × 19) - 12

= 133° - 12°

= 121°

• angle 2 = (4x - 17)°

= (4 × 19) - 17°

= 76° - 17°

= 59°
