(Will mark brainliest answer!) Please help me with the answer to this two mark chemistry question, URGENT!

“A test tube was filled with hydrogen chloride gas. The test tube was inverted in water and left. The liquid level rose up to the top of the test tube. Explain what was formed in the test tube after the water had entered.”

hydronium ions the only positive ions were formed since acids react with water to form h3O ions hope it helpz mark me brainliedt
