no red light will not form spectrum.as the white light results in spectrum as its wavelength have 7 colors.but red light has one wavelength and it cannot form a rainbow.

Almost all light,even so called monochromatic light,has a spectrum of wavelengths because of interactions with the medium that it travels through and because of the uncertainty principle.Therefore,whatever light you pas through a prism it will b dispersed into a spectrum.
