I think robots will end us because they will take over our jobs in the future due to their Artificial intelligence. Since that will increase unemployment, unemployed people won't have money.
Just because we created them doesn't mean that we can't be destroyed by them. Some of the past inventions of humans have also led to destruction (example - Nuclear weapons)

human made them
if they made they can destroy also
but there is no expection of robots end us.
