Sodium chloride and silver nitratein dissolved form can react with each other in normal conditions. Both salts are soluble, but the product of their reaction, silver chloride AgCl is a salt that isinsoluble in water, whichprecipitates after reaction in a white curd-like sediment: NaCl + AgNO₃ = NaNO₃ + AgCl.
