You can take ncc freely it will not effect your career I am also a ncc cadet and this is my 2nd year of training of junior wing after few months I will give the exam for A certificate.
You have attend camps if you are selected for camp , camp is really good opportunity for in junior wing 2nd there are camps are held they are for the selection for delhi Rd parade there are so many options in camp TSC ( thal Saina camp) for firing it is not for delhi and for delhi there are cultural , guard of honour, rajpat etc . you can know after joining but my opinion is u can join freely afterall it's a good opportunity if you will have a RDC certificate it will help u in taking addmission in College
