The ammeter reading changes with the change in material of the wire through which current flows because the net resistance will change.

as \:  \:  \: R =ρ \frac{l}{A}

=>Material changes with the change in resistivity.

so, current will change and ammeter reading will change.

  • Actually the ammeter reading changes with the change in material of the wire through which current flows because the net resistance will change.

Because material changes with the change in resistivity, so only current will change and ammeter reading will change.

ALSO KNOW:-

  • Ammeter is a instrument for measuring either direct or alternating electric current.
  • An ammeter can measure a wide range of current values because at high values only a small portion of the current is directed through the meter mechanism.
