If the virus is not contained or at least manageable, than it is possible that the entire population will be wiped out. Now, that may not essentially happen. I for one do not think that. The best thing to do is practice social distancing and wash your hands as much as possible. The Coronavirus is a serious thing but don't overreact about it. As long as you follow the rules and stay safe, you will be fine. This virus according to people has not exactly peaked yet, or so they say. There are plans being made to slowly return to normal and open stores again, but still practice social distancing.

The virus has turned into a pandemic, in my opinion it has already taken over the world, not everyone has to die for something such as the virus to take over the world, but then again that is kind of an exaggeration. So no the virus has not exactly "take over the world".
