will the mass and weight of an object on the earth be same ad their values on mars ? why?

The mass of an object remains constant where ever in the universe. But the weight of an object depends upon the Gravitation Force.
So the mass of the object will be same on earth and mars but the Weight of the object will vary.

Mass will be same every where bit weight will differ because weight depends on the force of gravity applied on the body
