In one molecule of CO2CO2 there are 2 oxygen atoms. So, in 1 mole of CO2CO2 there has to be 2X6.022X10232X6.022X1023 atoms of oxygen. Hence, there will be one tenth of this number of oxygen atoms in 0.1 mole of carbon dioxide i.e. 1.2044X10231.2044X1023, and this is your answer. Hope, I have succeeded in making you understand the number game! It’s easy, isn’t it?
