Will the opposite of a number always, sometimes, or never be greater than the number itself? Explain your reasoning. Provide an example to support your reasoning.

opposite of a number can be sometimes greater than itself,may be less then it or even equal.
       For ex:- opposite of 1 is 1 (equal)
                    opposite of  2 is 1/2 (less)
                    
opposite of  -2 is -1/2 (greater)
