Will the plant remain healthy if potted plant are coated with Vaseline to block the stomata

■□HEY DEAR .... I think the plant may not remain healthy or may be die...if their stomata is blocked with vaseline there will be no in take of co2...Vaesline layer only prevent that plant from receiving sunlight...
