Will the rice take the time to get cooked openly at higher altitudes as that in
Bangalore? Why do you think, rice gets cooked faster in a pressure cooker as
compared to cooking openly?

In higher altitudes the pressure is low and the temperature is low, the boiling point of water increases.

Complete step by step answer:

At low temperatures and higher altitudes, rice gets cooked easily in an open vessel. We know that as the altitude increases, the pressure decreases.
