Will the sun come really close to earth after a million years ??

Actually yes. According to the scientists, one day will surely come after thousand of years when all the hydrogen of the sun will be exhausted due to nuclear fission. Actually Hydrogen will be fully used and no hydrogen will be left. At that time sun will become a red giant and it's size will expand, engulfing nearby planets like mercury and Venus and then will be converted into a super Nova.
