will you see a spectrum if a Ray of monochromatic light falls on a prism?

no, because in white are 7 are present due to which by dispersion it forms a spectrum.
but in monochromatic ray compose only one colour

No,because spectrum is a band of seven colours whereas, monochromatic light ray won,t pass through it .so there would be no spectrum.
