Wood in general is a non-renewable source of energy. Extensive use of woods as a source of energy will result in deforestation and consequently raise the carbon dioxide (greenhouse gas) level in out atmosphere and also disrupt the natural habitat of many species. Burning of woods releases other unnecessary gases too.

No , I would not suggest wood as fuel because woods after burning release carbon dioxide gas in the air in a large amount which is harmful for our health .
