Shakespeare poems are filled with literature and often convey messages. Most of his poems that are usually taken from his plays, were written in blank verse(E.g. The Seven Ages from As You Like It). His sonnets were written in iambic pentameter.

Wordsworth was a romantic poet. His poems always had a good rhyme scheme. Romanticism in poetry is not the same thing as romance(as in love stories). You feel the emotions of the poet. To understand a romantic poet’s poetry, one has to know about his life. There was a really big tragedy in Wordsworth’s life. That is why you would find a sad two liner at the end of every poem. From the disappearance of the solitary reaper to his departure from the daffodils.

They are both great poets and have their own styles.
