 \underline{\pink{ Dimensions \:of \: a \: rectangular \:garden :}}

 Let \: Length (L) = x \:feet

 Breadth (B) = (x - 12) \:feet

 \underline{\pink{ Dimensions \:of \: a \: birdbath :}}

 length (l) = 8 \:feet ,

 Breadth (b) = 4\:feet

 Required \:Area = L\times B - l \times b

 = x(x-12) - 8 \times 4

 = x^{2} - 12x - 32

Therefore.,

 \red{ Required \:area }\green { = x^{2} - 12x - 32 }
