window glasses of old byilding appears milky at certain portion. why?​

Hence like liquids it has tendency to flow, therefore in old buildings the bottom of the glass panes look milky in appearence or thicker because glass over the years flown down under the influence of gravity.

This is because window glasses melts and comes at the bottom of the window. Glass is a semi solid and shows this property
