Dear Sir,

Subject : Application for The Post of Journalist

In response to your advertisement in THE TIMES OF INDIA yesterday inviting applications from post-graduates for the post of a journalist, I beg to offer myself as a candidate for the post.

My educational qualifications, experience and other relevant particulars are given below.

I did my post-graduation in Hindi from Delhi University in 19996 with a good second division. Then I obtained a diploma in journalism from Jamia Islamia University - New Delhi.

After completion of education and diploma I joined the Punjab Kerri - Chandigarh. I worked hard for three years. I was always first with the news of the northern region. Then I joined the PTI news agency as a correspondent. That news agency was quite satisfied with my performance.

I am highly experienced in investigative journalism. I am skilled in collecting and writing news, preparing write ups and articles. I have dug out a number of scams and irregularities in society and government departments.I am a Youngman of 26 years with a good health which can withstand demands of this profession. It is my wish to join your reputed newspaper. So I request you to give me a chance.

I assure you that if I am selected for this job, I will prove to be an asset to your newspaper.

Yours Faithfully,

Sanjay Pugalia
