2) In india any language is not a national language as in srilanka, only hindi is a official language in india
3) Anyone can follow any religion or not to follow anyone religion in our country according
to constitution.

Because had been already divided earlier on the basic of religion.i.e. partition of India (hindus,christians, sikhs, jains, bodha etc.) and Pakistan (muslim). And dividing India futher will destroy the whole economic of the country and India will be divided into many pieces. so,it is necessary to make India secular country.
