Answer:

The Circulatory System is the system of organs in the human beings and other animals which is responsible for transport of materials inside the body. It consists of heart, arteries, veins, capillaries and blood. The heart acts as a pump to push out blood. The arteries, veins and capillaries act as pipes or tubes through which the blood flows. These tubes carries blood are called blood vessels. So, there are three types of blood vessels in the human body: arteries, veins and capillaries. Now in detail we will understand all the parts of the circulatory system.

The circulatory system is made up of arteries and veins which brings blood to the heart and supplies to other parts of the body. The heart is the main pumping organ which pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs and oxygenated blood to all parts of the body

Oxygen-poor blood is collected from body parts through superior and inferior vena cava into the right atrium of the heart, which is then pumped to lungs through the pulmonary artery.

Then the oxygen-rich blood from the lungs is transferred to the left atrium through the pulmonary vein, which is then pumped to all other body parts through the aorta.
