With a shudder, Swami realized that it was a Monday morning.

Swami was late to his school. At the time when the prayer of the school was going on, he was lying on the bench. Swami didn't want to go to school. He wished that an earthquake should arise which would turn his school into dust. He was sad as in the blink of his eyes Friday got turned into Monday and again he has to go to the school.
