Let us assume that light doesnt travels in a straigh path...so if we place a opaque object(From which light cannot pass) then the light should reach the back of the object and the shadow shouldn't be formed but its not so because if we place a object in from of light the back of the object form a shadow as light doesnt pass through the back by bending...so hence its proved that light travels in straight path!
