Hey Buddy

Here's the Answer

--------------------------------------------

Here firstly we'll find the time of 1st 20 Km and similar of next 20 Km

We, know

==> Speed ( S ) = Distance ( D ) / Time ( T )

=> Time => Distance ( D ) / Speed ( S )

==> For 1st 20Km

=> T1 = D1 / S1

=> T1 = 20 / 50

=> T1 = 2 / 5 Hour

Similarly for next 20Km

=> T2 = D2 / S1

=> T2 = 20 / 30

=> T2 = 2 / 3 Hour

Now to find average speed

=> Avg speed = Total distance traveled / Total time taken

=> Avg S = ( D1 + D2 )/( T1 + T2 )

=> Avg S = ( 20 + 20 )/( 2/5 + 2/3 )

=> Avg S = 40 / ( 6+10 / 15 )

=> Avg S = 40 /( 16 / 15 )

=> Avg s = 40 × 15 / 16

=> Avg S = 10 × 15 / 4

=> Avg S = 150 / 4

=> Avg S = 37.5 Km/h

Hope it Helps
