It is the outermost in animal cell .It contains fine pours through which the particular substances enter through it. It is semi permeable in nature i.e it allows only certain substances into the cell. It is made of lipoprotein and lipids.

function:-

it separate the cell from other cells.It provide shape and rigidity to the cell.It play a role in the process of osmosis.

Endoplasmic reticulum:-(ER)

Rough

it contains ribosomes and help in synthesis of protein.

Smooth

it has attached no ribosomes. It helps in the synthesis of lipids,steriod and get rid of pollution.

Function:-

it acts as cytoskeleton. provide frame work to the cell.it helps in transport of nutrition and other materials between the adjacent.

Cytoplasm:-

it is present all over the cell.it always in a motion.The area of cytoplasm that does contains any of the organelles is called cytoghost.

it helps in holding the organelles in their position.it helps in the even distribution of nutrition among the cell organelles.
