Take some water in a bucket

Take a glass and put a piece of paper inside the glass

dip the open mouth of the bottle into a bucket filled with water.

You will notice that water does not enter the glass and the paper does not wet when it is in an inverted position, as there is no space for air to escape. This activity shows that air occupies space.

Hope this will help......
