Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction found in organisms which can produce identical young ones. Gametes are not produced in this method and so the organism produced by this method are exactly similar to parents.

In Amoeba, initially, the nucleus in the cell elongates and then divide into two parts. After nuclear division, the cell membrane divides into two parts by constriction which is followed by the division of the cytoplasm. This results in the formation of two young ones produced from the parent Amoeba which develops individually.
