Answer:

  • Obviously libraries are very much necessary becuse we always write fast afterthat read. We know that Library is a place where books are kept.

  • Books are very much authentic and they are more acceptable than digital copies. Books play the role of vowel and digital copies play the role of consonant.

  • Digital copies have also many side-effects, for example these are useless without electricity. Radiation causes death and Light of electronic or technical devices can harm eyes. Or on the other hand Books have no side-effects.

  • Therefore libraries are very much necessary for reading books.

Yes, libraries continue to be a necessity given the affordability of digital gadgets in a nation like India, wherein a high percentage of the population is underprivileged. Libraries continue to extend support to enthusiastic readers and learners from a poor background. Government libraries offer lifetime memberships for a very nominal amount.

Also, many people are now consciously opting for physical books, rather than reading digital copies, because of health and satisfaction reasons. Physical books do not affect the eyesight as digital gadgets do. Additionally, holding a book in hand and staring at a screen are very different experiences. Books certainly score over the screen.

Additionally, libraries have become a centre of social initiatives. They do not just contain books. They are also centres of development as they hold various free seminars, conduct reading programmes, house reading clubs and organise many such activities that are beneficial for society.
