(1) of the India constitution provides for six rights to freedom. each of these rights has exceptions to it provided in the Article itself. these rights are-

(a) Freedom of speech and expression. This right gives an individual right of speech and expression but is subjected to reasonable restrictions imposed in the interest of the sovereignty and integrity of India, Security of State, Relations with a foreign state, public order, decency or morality or about contempt of court, defamation or incitement to an offense.

(b) To assemble peaceably and without arms. the State can make a law imposing, in the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of India or public order, reasonable restrictions on the exercise of the right.

(c) To form associations or unions, subject to reasonable restrictions.
