The art of pottery flourished during the harappan period . The Harappans made pots using teracotta , clay, etc. The pots of daily use were plain and simple . The pots and jars used to preserve things were glazed and painted red and balck . Different designs of human beings , animals , trees , flowers and even geometrical patterns were painted in different colours on the pots.
