with reference to the powers and functions of the election commission answer the following:
(a) composition of the election commission
(b)measures to ensure the indepenedence of the election commission
(c)nomination papers and supreme courts direction to the candidates .

a. At present, the Election Commission of India is a three-member body, with one Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners
