Answer:

Ans a) The causes of World War II, a global war from 1939 to 1945 that was the deadliest conflict in human history, have been given considerable attention by historians from many countries who studied and understood them. The immediate precipitating event was the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany on September 1, 1939 and the subsequent declarations of war on Germany made by Britain and France, but many other prior events have been suggested as ultimate causes. Primary themes in historical analysis of the war's origins include the political takeover of Germany in 1933 by Adolf Hitler and the his Party; Japanese militarism against China, which led to the Second Sino-Japanese War; Italian aggression against Ethiopia, which led to the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and Germany's initial success in negotiating the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact with the Soviet Union to divide the territorial control of Eastern Europe between them.

Adolf Hitler wanted to expand Germany, but his superior officers would not listen to him. In his aggression he killed his superior officers and became the Dictator of Germany. On 1st September 1939, Germany entered Poland and captured it with the help of the Soviet Union. Then Soviets attacked on Finland which is known as The Cold War.

Ans b) On June 28, 1919, on the outskirts of Paris, European dignitaries crowded into the Palace of Versailles to sign one of history’s most hated treaties. Known as the Treaty of Versailles, it formally ended World War I—and at the same time laid the foundation for the Second World War. Though it was preceded by a peace conference that lasted over a year, the treaty was disliked by every nation that signed it.

Over 65 million people had fought in World War I, and more than 8.5 million military members and at least 6.6 million civilians died. The war decimated farmland, towns, and battlefields around Europe. And according to many, Germany was to blame. Though contemporary historians are still split on who should be held responsible for World War I, the treaty blamed and punished Germany. The Treaty of Versailles, it formally ended World War I—and at the same time laid the foundation for the Second World War.

For Your knowledge to improve I have also written some the points below....

When Germany entered Poland and captured, the Soviets thought that they should also expand their country. For expanding their country, they invaded Finland which was sharing border with Soviet Union (Russia). This was the beginning of the Winter War. Finland was having regular wars with the Soviets and were weakening as the time passed. Soviets have Green Color Tanks and their army men were wearing Green and Brown clothes, this means no camouflage; Soviets were also not having skis and proper winter outfit for the region of Finland. On the other hand the soldiers of Finland were wearing White Clothes with skis to make their movement faster then the enemy; they also had Tanks which were painted White, and this means they were completely camouflage.

At the end a treaty was signed by the Soviets and the Finnish army that Finland would surrender and was forced to give 20% of its territory. Both the sides were weakened by the end of the Winter War. Soviets were first, an ally of Germany, but when Germany's Dictator, Adolf Hitler, noticed that the Winter War had weakened the Soviets, he ordered an surprise attack on the Soviet Union which was known as Operation Barbarossa.
