With sloping masts means the movement of waves and dipping prow signifies when the tip of the ship is dipping in the water due to storm and heavy winds flowing ...further as who pursued is reffered to the storm which chased them with it's power . The ship bends it's head forward and started moving fast ...and the lighting due to the storm is roared in the sky and they moved to southward direction ...
