To do so,

  • Convert this statement into mathematical expression.

  • Open the brackets and multiply the (-) sign with the 2nd expression.

:\implies{\sf{2x^{2}y+3xy^{2} - xy -x^{2}y + 4xy^{2} - 4xy}}

  • Arrange the terms according their variables and exponents along with sign.

:\implies{\sf{2x^{2}y - x^{2}y +3xy^{2} + 4xy^{2} -xy - 4xy}}

  • Simplify this.

:\large\implies{\boxed{\sf{\orange{x^{2}y +7xy^{2} -5xy}}}}

Hence, the answer is x²y + 7xy² - 5xy.
