With the development of online communication a whole new world has emerged. Sprawling over the internet much like a spider's net thousands of so called socialites are socializing over the many social network sites.  

EXPLANATION:

They claim that there is no chance of feeling lonely. If that was true then why has the suicide rates rocketed up? Why have stalwarts like Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain committed society out of loneliness? They were very active on the social sites.

The problem lies in fact somewhere else. The online communication system is like a mirage. It is totally virtual and synthetic. Instead of bringing people close it distances them from reality. The percentage of fakeness, fraudulence and superficiality has increased.  

Thus according to me people will become more lonely and make fewer friends in reality with the development of online communication.
