it is the hottest region on earth.it receives direct heat from the sun.it is the region between tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn.

temperate zone-
 the climate of temperate zone is moderate(neither too hot nor too cold).the area between arctic circle & tropic of cancer and antarctic circle and tropic of Capricorn.it receives perfect amount of sunlight from sun.

frigid zone-
this is the coldest zone of earth.it lies between the two poles and temperate zone.the sunlight hardly reaches here.it is cold throughout the year.the sun rays are falling most slanted here.
