With the help of a diagram describe the process of fertilization in flowering plants.

 \huge \tt \red{Answer :- }

Fertilisation occurs after pollen grains fall on the stigma. The male gamete present in the pollen moves downward through the pollen tube and reaches the ovule. This gamete fuses with the egg to form a zygote. This process is known as fertilisation.

Explain double fertilization and triple fusion.

 \huge \tt \purple{Answer :- }

Double fertilization is the fusion of the embryo sac with two male gametes. It occurs in angiosperms. The fertilization of a sperm cell with the central cell is called triple fusion. Since the embryo sac is fertilized twice, the fertilization of gametes in angiosperms is called double fertilization.
