From Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction we know that whenever current passes through a conductor then magnetic field is induced. In relation to this Faraday has proposed to floor and a third law is lenz's law. The first law talks about the magnitude of the force the second law talks about the distance and the third law talks about the direction of the induced magnetic field. You can also apply the Fleming's left hand rule that will give an idea about the direction of magnetic field and current and the motion of conductor
