With the help of a ray diagram, show the reflected ray when a ray is incident on the pole of a spherical mirror at an angle of 45 degree.

The laws of reflection hold good for spherical mirrors.

When a ray strikes the pole, the principal axis becomes the normal at the point of incidence

And the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection.
